Chi is writer/director from Taiwan. She is passionate about exploring female identity, mental health, and domestic conflicts in cinema. Her short films have played at international film festivals, including the BAFTA qualifying Norwich Film Festival.​

 

Chi completed her M.F.A. degree in Film Production - Directing emphasis at Chapman University.

Her narrative style merges aesthetics of different cultures from her ESEA background, education in America, and adventure in Europe. She has a gentle yet powerful voice in her storytelling. Metaphoric symbols and dance/movements are often elements in her works.
 

Chi also works as an assistant director and a translator for film, commercial, and theater productions. Brands that she has worked with include Porsche, McDonald's, Google, Oppo, foodpanda.

Chi now lives in London, and travels between Taiwan and UK, wherever the projects might take her.
